Muddy Waters 1 and 2

The murky waters of flooding nearby. These were imagined images in as much as I didn't use a particular photo i took of the floods (June 2016); it was more a melding of lots of images in my head. I just wanted to get the feel of brown waters flowing through the landscape. It is the first in what will be a series.

Angry baby love and Beach Babies.

 A series of sketches/drawings of angry babies and beach babies done on whatever I had handy at the time. Trying to capture cuteness, quirkiness and mostly mock anger in the faces of babies I know.

The pink landscape. Not sure about this one. I think it's a bit flat and i should have introduced yellows maybe, not just white to the red, as that would have given more depth. Oh well, next time!

This was done in an hour or so, using my left hand instead of usual right. I do this often when I need to try and loosen up and make my brain work in a different way. It helps in allowing you to see things from a very different perspective; what comes out is usually more clearer, more focused looser.
