Ordinary lives, ordinary things, familiar places - the stuff of life - the cycles, the interconectedness of life on this planet, is the philosophy behind what I try to recreate in my artwork; be they drawings, paintings or other works. Pink Landscape
Pink Landscape, acrylic on canvas, 40cm x 35cm
The pink landscape. Not sure about this one. I think it's a bit flat and i should have introduced yellows maybe, not just white to the red, as that would have given more depth. Oh well, next time!

Two Little Angels From the Past (2)
Two Little Angels From the Past (this time in black). Trying to give a hint of 'yes we are very cute, but don't mess with me and my bro or just might mess with you...').
Acrylic on canvas

Two little Angels (1)
Two little Angels from the past
Acrylic on A3 paper.
This was done in an hour or so, using my left hand instead of usual right. I do this often when I need to try and loosen up and make my brain work in a different way. It helps in allowing you to see things from a very different perspective; what comes out is usually more clearer, more focused looser.

Lotta Road 2
The latest in my series of Lotta Road. Acrylic on canvas, approx 25cmx40
A couple of lighter areas to complete and one or two highlights, but otherwise happy. Achieving my goal of loosening up,and just staying focused - and of doing a painting in a day, at last!Saturday, 9 April 2016
The Pink Bunny
The Pink Bunny, March 2016, acrylic on canvas, approx 30cmx45cm
Testing out textures, especially since it was painted over a previous painting with textures already there. Tried to incorporate this into the artwork and add more; and give Pink Bunny just a little bit of attitude as well.
'I'm hanging up my dancing shoes and coming for some tea. I'm walking from the past to you in my yellow and blue feet. I am Pink Bunny; please don't mess with me'.
Pink Bunny was a very patient model (even when she/he got a few bits of paint on her/him during the process).
The painting was for an Easter present, so have not been able to post it before now.
